The Study of the U.S. Institutes (SUSI) for Scholars and Professionals is an intensive, fully funded academic exchange program designed to enhance participants’ understanding of U.S. society, culture, values, and institutions. The program consists of a four-week academic residency at a U.S. host university, followed by a one-week integrated study tour. Institutes are organized around themes such as American politics, literature, journalism, culture and identity, economics and sustainable development, and foreign policy. Participants engage in lectures, seminars, site visits, and networking activities, with the aim of strengthening curricula and teaching about the United States in their home institutions. The program also fosters international dialogue and networking among university faculty, scholars, and professionals.
