Description
The Sudan Stability Programme (SSP) is a £39 million, five-year FCDO programme running from 2026 to 2031. It aims to help end hostilities in Sudan, lay foundations for an inclusive political process and protect civilians from violence. This call seeks one delivery partnership for outcomes 2 and 3: representative civilian participation in intra-Sudanese dialogue, and improved local governance and conflict management that reduces atrocities and civilian protection risks. Outcome 1 is outside this call.
Priorities include grassroots and marginalised voices, women and girls, social cohesion and stronger Sudanese organisations. Media, information integrity, psychosocial and other interventions can fit where they demonstrably contribute to both outcomes. Research and evidence generation should support implementation and adaptation, rather than constitute the programme’s primary output.
