    Description

The Summer Meals Capacity-Building Mini-Grants program aims to increase the reach and effectiveness of summer meal services for children and youth in the City of Rochester. Grants support initiatives that expand the number of children served and extend the number of days meals are available during the summer, when school is not in session. Funding can be used for supplemental staff or volunteer coordinators, capital equipment (such as tables, chairs, refrigerators, and coolers), and additional USDA-approved snacks and meals. The program is designed to help local Summer Meals sites address food insecurity and enhance program impact.
