Description

SummerTimeKids is a competitive grant initiative of Stark Community Foundation, guided by a volunteer committee and Foundation staff. It supports imaginative and unique summer youth programs that enrich participants’ lives and benefit the community as a whole. The initiative prioritizes experiences that challenge young people to learn, grow and build character.

Preferred activities include reading and math programs, STEM experiences, arts, culture and outdoor exploration. The initiative also supports new experiences through museum visits, trips to area college campuses and physical activities. Programs that fill participation gaps through healthy meals and snacks, transportation or family support are also priorities.
