The NIH Office of Dietary Supplements' challenge seeks to revolutionize public engagement with dietary supplement information by transforming static fact sheets into engaging, interactive digital experiences. Through this three-phase competition, teams are encouraged to develop culturally and linguistically tailored digital solutions—such as behavior change apps, social media content, AI-enabled tools, serialized video, and other interactive technologies—that effectively communicate accurate supplement facts to diverse audiences. The initiative aims to enhance health literacy, combat misinformation, and empower individuals to make safe, informed decisions about dietary supplements. Solutions must integrate at least two digital modalities and demonstrate measurable impact, usability, and scalability.
