Description
The Support for Faculty Scholars Award (SFSA) at Western Michigan University is designed to advance the university’s research mission by funding faculty-led research and creative activities that may not necessarily result in external funding but contribute to the scholarly reputation of both WMU and the principal investigator. The award supports faculty initiating new projects, entering new areas of scholarship, or disseminating original work and engaging in professional collaborations. The program is managed by the Research Policies Council, which oversees application review and outcome assessment.
