Description
The Support for Faculty Scholars Award (SFSA) at Western Michigan University is designed to advance the university’s research mission by supporting faculty research and creative activities that may not necessarily lead to external funding but serve to enhance and sustain the scholarly reputation of both WMU and the faculty principal investigator. The award is intended for faculty at various stages of their careers: those establishing new projects, entering new research or creative areas, or disseminating original scholarship and engaging in professional collaborations. The program is overseen by the Research Policies Council, which manages application, review, and evaluation processes to ensure alignment with university goals for scholarly contribution.
