Description
This programme supports innovative, large-scale projects in Scotland that aim to improve the health of unpaid carers by tackling health inequalities and driving systemic change. Grants fund initiatives that address root causes of long-term challenges for unpaid carers, focusing on transitions in caring roles, better identification and support for carers (especially those facing additional barriers), and shifting societal perceptions of care. Projects should involve people with lived experience of unpaid care in their design and delivery and must be delivered by formal partnerships across sectors.
