Description
The George and Sarah Buchanan Foundation awards grants to enhance impactful charitable programs, foster innovation, and strengthen existing systems and organizations. Through grants and partnerships with charitable organizations, it seeks to improve the lives of people in need across five focus areas: military, special needs, at-risk youth, education, and faith-based organizations.
Supported work includes assistance for military personnel, veterans, and their families; housing assistance for veterans and Gold Star families; and tailored services for individuals with disabilities. Other priorities include education and mentorship for at-risk youth, innovative learning and access to knowledge for underprivileged communities, vocational training, and faith-based programs providing spiritual guidance, community service, and assistance to people in need.
