Description
The Supporting Our Neighbors Fund, offered by the Community Foundation for Monterey County (CFMC), provides responsive grants to nonprofit organizations and public agencies that serve individuals and families in Monterey County experiencing urgent needs due to immigration and policy-related challenges. The fund focuses on supporting programs in community outreach, legal assistance, education on immigrant and LGBTQ+ rights, basic needs, mental and physical health services, food security, and rapid response efforts. Grant guidelines are intentionally flexible to address evolving community needs, including direct relief for food insecurity stemming from delays or discontinuation of public assistance programs.
