Description
The Ohio Arts Council’s Sustainability program provides four-year operating support to arts providers of all sizes. Its purpose is to sustain ongoing arts and cultural activities across genres, help organizations offer high-quality experiences to Ohio residents and visitors, and strengthen the state’s arts and cultural ecosystem.
Funding can support general artistic and administrative work, including compensation, marketing, program planning, education, and evaluation. The program values activities with artistic, educational, or cultural value that meet community needs. Reviewers also consider community engagement, outreach to historically underrepresented populations, inclusive planning, ways to measure success, and resource management.
