Description
The Sustainable Agriculture Research Initiative Connection Grants are a special funding opportunity from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC), in partnership with NSERC and Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. These grants are designed to support interdisciplinary and intersectoral events and outreach activities focused on short-term, targeted knowledge mobilization. The aim is to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange among researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and stakeholders working to advance sustainable agricultural sectors and food systems, in support of Canada’s just transition to a net-zero economy. Eligible activities include workshops, conferences, forums, summer institutes, documentaries, and other outreach events that bridge academic research with practice and policy.
