Summary: Supports early-stage research to generate data for future SWOG clinical trials and projects within the National Clinical Trials Network.
The SWOG Early Exploration & Development (SEED) Fund, administered by the Hope Foundation, provides financial support for preliminary research projects designed to generate data that will inform or lead to future SWOG clinical trials or related translational research within the National Clinical Trials Network (NCTN). The fund is intended for a range of project types, including pre-clinical studies, secondary analyses of clinical trial data, pilot and feasibility studies (including early-stage clinical trials), small self-contained research projects, and development of research methodologies or technologies. The ultimate goal is to advance projects that can progress to larger studies and secure additional external funding.
