Description
This award supports early and conceptual-stage research projects that utilize resources from completed SWOG studies or are directly translatable to future SWOG or National Clinical Trials Network (NCTN) clinical trials. The program is designed to encourage high-risk, high-reward proposals with the potential to introduce breakthroughs or novel methodologies in cancer research. Emphasis is placed on projects that can catalyze further extramural funding and generate impactful publications citing SWOG and the Hope Foundation. Projects may involve scientific risk but should demonstrate strong potential to advance clinical cancer research within the SWOG network.
