Summary: Supports interregional consortia developing and testing digital healthcare, energy and mobility solutions from validated prototypes toward operational systems.
Key Information: Funded partners must be established in the five SYSTEMEU territories; only one self-funded outside partner is permitted.
SYSTEMEU’s first Financial Support to Third Parties call supports cross-border collaborative innovation in healthcare, energy and mobility. The Horizon Europe co-funded project, coordinated by the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship, aims to select five to eight projects developing, testing and validating digital solutions in real-world environments. Projects must start at a minimum Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 6 and reach TRL 8, moving from validated prototypes to complete solutions demonstrated under operational conditions.
The call supports digital health and medtech, decentralized clean and smart energy networks, and intelligent transport systems and logistics. Its goals include interregional knowledge and resource sharing, scalable solutions, and measurable economic and societal impact. Funding is awarded through cascade funding, with regional ecosystem leaders financing recipients in their own regions.
