Description
The Systems Group Scholarship is one of the Association for Iron and Steel Technology (AIST) Ohio Valley Member Chapter Scholarships. It provides a one-year award to a student pursuing education directly related to producing iron and steel, supporting that production, or managing iron and steel manufacturing and steel distribution.
The chapter lists the award for STEM students. STEM Bachelor of Science degrees are preferred, but candidates pursuing related Bachelor of Arts degrees, such as general manufacturing management, and Associate of Science degrees in STEM-related technology may also apply. The Ohio Valley Member Chapter scholarship committee selects recipients based on academic performance—especially in mathematics and science—extracurricular activities, and the applicant’s essay.
