Description
The Association for Academic Surgery (AAS) and the Taiwan Surgical Association (TSA) offer this International Visiting Professorship Award to encourage the exchange of ideas and information about clinical, scientific, and policy aspects of surgery. The award supports travel to Taiwan to attend and present at the TSA Annual Meeting, held annually in the spring.
The program centers on international professional exchange rather than a specified research topic or an individual research project. It is intended for active AAS members with substantial involvement in the association, significant surgical research accomplishments, and a full-time academic appointment.
