Description
This award provides financial support to women geoscience students to present their research at national or international professional geoscience meetings, with the exception of the Geological Society of America (GSA) Annual Meeting. The goal is to enhance the visibility of women's contributions to geoscience and foster professional development through participation in significant scientific conferences. The award is named in honor of Suzanne Takken, a pioneering petroleum geologist and advocate for women in geoscience.
