Description
The Takken Student Research Presentation Travel Award, offered by the Association for Women Geoscientists (AWG), provides financial support to women geoscience students who are presenting their research at national or international professional geoscience meetings, with the exception of the Geological Society of America's Annual Meeting. Named in honor of Suzanne Takken, this award aims to foster greater student participation and increase the visibility of women within the geoscience community by helping to offset travel and presentation expenses.
