Description
The Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management’s Targeted Brownfields Assessment Program helps communities reduce uncertainty about actual or perceived contamination at specific properties. It funds Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments and Remedial Planning Reports, providing information to guide decisions about sites of concern and plan remediation where needed.
The program focuses on assessment and planning, rather than cleanup itself.
