This European Commission funding opportunity supports the development and demonstration of advanced, targeted technological and governance solutions to reinforce the resilience of critical entities against a wide range of hazards. These include natural disasters (such as floods, wildfires, earthquakes, and storms), human-induced incidents, as well as hybrid and cascading NaTech (natural hazard triggered technological) scenarios. The call seeks projects that move beyond generic resilience frameworks to create sector-specific, interoperable, and modular tools and platforms for preparedness, response, and recovery. Proposals should address systemic vulnerabilities, enhance risk assessment and decision support, foster multi-level and cross-border cooperation, and demonstrate measurable improvements in both technological and organisational resilience. Projects must be grounded in recent risk assessments, draw on lessons learned from past disruptive events, and involve simulations or real-world testing with public authorities, emergency responders, and critical service operators. Alignment with relevant EU policy frameworks and international cooperation are encouraged.
