Description
The T.B.L. Webster Fellowship is designed to foster international collaboration in classical studies by supporting scholars from universities outside the UK. The fellowship focuses on research in ancient theatre, performance, their reception, or classical art and archaeology. Fellows are required to spend at least six weeks at the Institute of Classical Studies (ICS) in London, with flexibility to arrange their visit within a single academic year.
As part of their fellowship, recipients must propose and deliver an event or training activity at ICS, ideally engaging UK-based classical researchers and the wider subject community. The fellowship provides a financial allowance to cover travel and accommodation, as well as additional support for organizing the proposed event.
