Description
The T.B.L. Webster Fellowship at the Institute of Classical Studies (ICS), University of London’s School of Advanced Study, supports visiting scholars from universities outside the UK. It funds research in ancient theatre and performance and its reception, or in classical art and archaeology, alongside engagement with the wider classical research community.
Applicants propose an event or training activity to take place at ICS during their stay. Activities engaging UK-based classical researchers or the national and international subject community are particularly welcome. The fellowship supports travel and accommodation for the research stay, with separate funding for speakers’ travel and appropriate catering at the proposed activity. Fellows are also encouraged to speak at events or participate in workshops elsewhere in the UK when invited.
