Description
This opportunity from the Transportation Research Board (TRB) under the Transit Cooperative Research Program (TCRP) seeks proposals for research that will develop a comprehensive resource analyzing both current and emerging options for funding and financing public transportation services across the United States. The project will build on the foundational TCRP Report 129 and examine how funding mechanisms have evolved over the past two decades. The resulting resource should help agencies of all sizes understand trends, drivers, and new opportunities in public transportation funding, with a focus on strategies to mitigate shortfalls, local/regional/state support mechanisms, partnership opportunities, and effective communication and implementation strategies.
