Description
Lilly Endowment’s Teacher Creativity Fellowship Program supports Indiana K–12 educators in taking time for meaningful personal renewal. It funds intentional experiences involving exploration, reflection and growth, rather than typical vacations. Projects should be intellectually enriching and personally renewing, offering opportunities for exploration and fulfillment that would otherwise not be possible.
The program seeks to restore educators’ professional enthusiasm, stimulate creativity, encourage innovative teaching and educational leadership, and ultimately enrich students’ educational experiences. Projects need not relate to the subject an applicant teaches. The focus is personal renewal, not professional development, academic research or school-related projects. Travel is optional, and no particular type of renewal project is favored.
