Description
The Teacher Initiated Project (TIP) Grant, offered by the Utah Division of Arts & Museums, provides individual K-12 educators employed in Utah schools the opportunity to pursue personal artistic growth. Through this program, educators select a professional teaching artist for one-on-one instruction in the artistic discipline of their choice—including visual art, music, theatre, dance, storytelling, media arts, folk arts, or creative writing. The focus is on the educator’s own creative development, not classroom instruction or curriculum. The grant covers 16 hours of personalized instruction, with payment made directly to the teaching artist.
