This grant supports professional learning initiatives for mathematics teachers and teacher-leaders in PK-12 schools. The focus is on enhancing educator knowledge and capacity to implement effective pedagogical practices, specifically in alignment with NCSM's signature initiatives: Equity & Access Leadership Learning and/or Communication Exchange. Proposals should be designed to improve both teacher competence and student learning in mathematics, with clear plans, data-supported needs, defined outcomes, and assessment strategies. While the grant does not fund technology purchases, projects may include professional development using technology to enhance student learning. The grant is organizational, awarded to schools, and requires a detailed proposal, budget, background/resume, and a principal’s letter of support.
