--- ## Description This grant provides funding for individual teaching artists listed on the Central Minnesota Arts Board (CMAB) Teaching Artist Roster to lead arts learning activities in community settings, including K-12 schools. The program aims to expand access to arts education, support artists’ professional growth, and foster community engagement through creative residencies and workshops. --- ## Due Dates - **Draft Review Deadlines:** - October 3, 2024 - January 30, 2025 - May 1, 2025 - **Application Deadlines:** - October 17, 2024 - February 13, 2025 - May 15, 2025 - **Board Review Dates:** - November 14, 2024 (in person, Foley, MN) - March 13, 2025 (in person, St. Cloud, MN) - June 12, 2025 (via Zoom) --- ## Funding Amount - **Maximum Request:** $2,000 per grant - **Annual Limit:** $2,000 total per artist per fiscal year - **Eligible Expenses:** - Planning time - Artist-student contact time - Staff support and development - Expendable supplies and materials --- ## Eligibility - **Who Can Apply:** - Individuals listed on the [CMAB Teaching Artist Roster](https://www.centralmnartsboard.org/opportunities/teaching-artist-roster/) - Must be a resident of Benton, Sherburne, Stearns, or Wright County, Minnesota, for at least six months prior to application - Must be at least 18 years old - Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident - **Not Eligible:** - Artists who have already received $2,000 in Teaching Artist Grant awards in the same fiscal year - Applicants with overdue final reports for any CMAB grant - Proposals not focused on arts learning, or that replace required curriculum services - Proposals focused on fundraising or already funded by another CMAB grant - No more than two CMAB-funded residencies at the same school/organization within five years --- ## Application Process 1. **Review Guidelines:** - Read the [full guidelines (PDF)](https://www.centralmnartsboard.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/FY25TeachingArtistGrant_Guidelines.pdf) or [Word version](https://www.centralmnartsboard.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/FY25TeachingArtistGrant_Guidelines.doc). 2. **Draft Review (Optional):** - Submit your draft at least two weeks before the application deadline for staff feedback. 3. **Submit Application:** - Apply online via the [CMAB Grants System](https://www.grantinterface.com/Home/Logon?urlkey=centralmnartsboard). - First-time applicants must create an account.
