Description
The Central Minnesota Arts Board (CMAB) offers the Teaching Artist Roster Program with funding from the McKnight Foundation. This six-session training strengthens artists’ teaching abilities and professional practice through personal exploration, peer learning, and instruction from professional facilitators. Emerging artists seeking to expand or formalize their creative practice and established artists working toward a new milestone are encouraged to apply.
A small cohort participates in the program. Intended outcomes include expanding how artists apply their craft, building a network of peers and mentors, using personal reflection and assessment for continuous improvement, becoming familiar with CMAB’s grant application process, and developing a practical toolbox for success as a practicing artist.
