The Society for Endocrinology’s Teaching Grant supports teaching in endocrinology at all stages, with initiatives for both students and teachers intended to inspire the next generation. Its scope is broad, with particular interest in educational initiatives that can become a resource or model for other Society members.
Supported activities include developing teaching resources, purchasing educational equipment, designing programmes such as Virtual Learning Environments, and training in teaching tools, including AI. Funding can also support student prizes and guest lecturer expenses for undergraduate or postgraduate teaching programmes. Undergraduate Summer Studentships and nurses completing the SfE-Oxford Brookes Masters Module in Endocrine Nursing fall within the grant’s remit.
