Description
The Teaching and Learning Grants offered by the China Institute at Bucknell University support faculty and students in short-term academic activities that foster innovative and impactful teaching and learning about the Sinosphere. The Sinosphere encompasses East Asia, South and Southeast Asia, and Asian diaspora communities worldwide, with a special emphasis on comparative perspectives involving Greater China. Eligible activities include purchasing research materials, conducting research trips, collaborating with peers, taking students on class trips, and licensing specialized software for classroom use. The program aims to deepen understanding of the Sinosphere and encourage projects that bring fresh perspectives to the study of this cultural region.
