Description
This program funds teams of undergraduate and graduate students at accredited North Carolina higher education institutions, guided by a faculty Principal Investigator (PI), to participate in national STEM competitions connected to NASA Directorates. The grant aims to provide hands-on, interdisciplinary learning experiences that complement academic studies in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Supported projects must engage with NASA-sponsored or sanctioned challenges, promoting technical skill development, teamwork, outreach, and engagement with industry and the public.
