Description
Team Science Awards are administered by the Melanoma Research Alliance (MRA) and are the centerpiece of its research funding portfolio. The program advances MRA’s goal of fostering a collaborative research process by bringing together multidisciplinary teams with complementary expertise around innovative melanoma research.
The awards support translational projects with the potential to produce transformational advances and move rapidly toward clinical translation. Supported work is intended to affect melanoma prevention, diagnosis, staging, and treatment in the near and intermediate future. Collaboration may involve investigators within one institution, across multiple institutions, or at international institutions, linking complementary scientific expertise with research relevant to clinical care.
