Description
The Team Science Program at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) College of Medicine supports new scientific partnerships and initial studies with the potential to establish new funded research programs. The program seeks collaborations that are integral to the research plan and strengthen the College’s research community.
Priority is given to new basic and translational faculty partnerships, junior–senior faculty partnerships, cross-disciplinary collaborations, and development of new or innovative technology. Selected teams are expected to submit two co-authored publications and one competitive NIH R01 or equivalent proposal within two years. The College of Medicine administers the program, with proposals reviewed by the Team Science Committee and final funding decisions made by the Dean.
