Description
The Team Science Program at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) College of Medicine is designed to foster collaborative research by supporting the formation of new research teams. The program aims to catalyze innovative initial studies that lay the groundwork for future externally funded research, particularly NIH R01 (or equivalent) proposals. Selected teams are expected to produce at least two co-authored publications and submit a competitive NIH grant within two years. The initiative emphasizes cross-disciplinary partnerships, the development of novel or innovative technologies, and the strengthening of the research community within the College of Medicine.
