Description
TechCred is an Ohio Department of Development program that reimburses employers for training leading to in-demand, technology-focused credentials. It supports employers seeking to build the technical skills of current employees or people they plan to hire, strengthen talent pipelines, and develop a more competitive, tech-ready workforce across Ohio.
Credentials must be industry-recognized and emphasize hands-on skills used to develop, build, configure, or operate advanced technologies. Training must lead to a certificate or certification and be short-term. Employers select from eligible training providers and identify the credential each worker will pursue.
