Description
Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board (OWEB) Technical Assistance grants support work needed to develop restoration and acquisition projects or programs. Funded work must lead toward protecting or restoring fish and wildlife habitat or natural watershed functions that improve water quality or stream flow. The program also supports organizational technical assistance necessary to carry out restoration and acquisition work.
The two project types serve different stages of development. Technical Design and Engineering produces feasibility reports, designs, or engineering materials leading directly to site-specific projects. Resource Assessment and Planning documents existing water quality or habitat conditions and processes, then connects them to actions that will lead directly to desired future conditions.
