Description
The Tennessee State Library & Archives (TSLA) Technology Grants help public libraries across Tennessee purchase or replace technology used by library staff and the public. Supported in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services through the Library Services and Technology Act, the program funds computers, software, networking hardware, and peripherals.
The program emphasizes demonstrated need and specific, well-focused purchasing projects. Applicants must identify the objects or supplies they plan to procure, explain each item's purpose, and present realistic costs. Selection also considers the library’s ability to administer the grant responsibly, including designated personnel. Funding is provided through a matching, reimbursement-based contract rather than an upfront payment.
