Description
The Henry County Community Foundation’s Teens About Serving the County (TASC) Youth Grant supports programs and projects benefiting young people in Henry County, Indiana. The program emphasizes change-oriented, focused grants that help organizations achieve objectives such as greater efficiency, increased fundraising capabilities, or better products. Projects should address local youth needs, relate directly to the program’s mission, and provide a timeline for completion. Preference is given to projects benefiting the most people.
Local students help guide grantmaking through the TASC Youth Grants Committee. It includes an eighth grader, freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior from each of Henry County’s five school districts. The committee reviews proposals and recommends funding, with final approval by the Foundation’s Board of Directors.
