Description
Tenant Based Rental Assistance (TBRA) is administered by Kansas Housing Resources Corporation (KHRC) using U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development funding through the HOME Investment Partnerships Program. It supports income-eligible Kansas households with rent, security deposits, and/or utility deposits. Funded local agencies deliver the assistance, connecting households with providers serving their counties.
KHRC maintains a county directory to help households identify their local TBRA provider and publishes resources for agencies administering the program. These include HOME income limits, fair market rents, a subrecipient manual, and client setup and closeout forms.
