Summary: Supports healthcare professional education on recognizing, diagnosing, assessing, and managing tardive dyskinesia, including VMAT2 inhibitor use.
Key Information: Grants support educational organizations, not individual healthcare professionals.
Teva’s Tardive Dyskinesia–HCP program supports independent medical education that improves healthcare professionals’ knowledge, confidence, and competence in recognizing, diagnosing, assessing, and managing tardive dyskinesia (TD). Education should address associated risk factors, current treatment options, the importance of early and continuous treatment, and the impact of untreated TD. The program emphasizes assessment and management throughout the patient journey.
A further priority is improving confidence and competence in using VMAT2 inhibitors, including overcoming barriers to long-term treatment success and understanding appropriate titration and maintenance dosing. Teva seeks innovative, high-quality education that is evidence-based, clinically relevant, and performance-based. Accredited and non-accredited professional education programs are considered, with higher priority given to accredited activities.
