Description
The Texas Moving Image Industry Incentive Program (TMIIIP) is a statewide initiative to boost the Texas economy by attracting and supporting job creation in the moving image industry. The program provides cash grants to qualifying productions—including film, television, commercials, animation, visual effects (VFX), video games, and extended reality (XR)—based on a percentage of eligible in-state expenditures, such as wages paid to Texas residents and other qualifying production costs. The grant is administered by the Office of the Governor and is designed to make Texas a competitive location for both national and international productions.
