Description
The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) administers this one-time opportunity through the Texas Water Fund. It provides grants for eligible water supply corporations to improve drinking water service for existing residential customers. Projects may address real or apparent water loss, water conservation, system deficiencies, aging infrastructure, unreliable supply, or Texas Commission on Environmental Quality violations.
Funding can support planning, acquisition, design, and construction. Eligible direct or indirect potable reuse work is limited to tertiary treatment of wastewater effluent and subsequent components needed to convey water for potable use. Drainage, flood control, and wastewater projects are not eligible.
