Description
The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) administers this one-time grant opportunity through the Texas Water Fund. Funding is made available through the Rural Water Assistance Fund (RWAF) and the Water Loss Assistance Fund (formerly referred to as WLAF). The opportunity assists Water Supply Corporations with critical infrastructure needs while supporting the long-term reliability and sustainability of water systems.
Eligible work includes water supply and infrastructure improvements, conservation strategies, water loss mitigation, and potable reuse. Projects may address real or apparent water loss, Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) violations, or system upgrades and replacements. Applicants may request funding for planning, acquisition, design, or construction, subject to the implementation plan’s project and readiness requirements.
