Description
The Artist Grant, launched by the Reva & David Logan Foundation in 2021, is a community-driven initiative to support individual artists living in Chicago. The program was designed collaboratively by local artists to prioritize accessibility and inclusivity, intentionally removing traditional barriers and elitist selection processes. The grant recognizes and uplifts artists who may not be part of the mainstream art world, with a particular emphasis on supporting underrepresented communities, including BIPOC, queer, disabled, and self-taught or non-formally trained artists.
