This program supports students in grades 8–12 from the Lake Region Arts Council (LRAC) nine-county area by providing one-on-one mentorships with professional artists. The mentorships are designed to foster artistic growth, creativity, and skill development in any artistic medium, including visual arts, dance, creative writing, drama, music, design, and media arts. Up to 20 students each year are selected based on their commitment and potential for artistic development. The award funds individualized study or participation in a Minnesota-based workshop, residency, or summer arts camp.
