Description
Established in 2016 during the First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania’s centennial campaign, the Century Fund supports civic, economic development, recreational, and youth initiatives benefiting residents of Lycoming, Montour, Northumberland, Snyder, and Union counties. Its aims include celebrating neighborhoods, showcasing the region’s environmental treasures, and guiding young people toward a positive future.
The 2026 program focuses on positive youth development for adolescents ages 13 through 17. Reviewers look for projects that reach a broad and diverse group of residents, set attainable and measurable goals, collaborate with other nonprofits without duplicating efforts, and demonstrate a path to long-term sustainability. They also consider whether projects leverage other funding or attract matching support.
