Description
The Kids Trust Fund is a fund of the Foundation For Enhancing Communities, created in 2005 by and in memory of Gary L. Houck, Jr. Its mission is to help children living with physical or emotional abuse or neglect grow up in a happy, safe, and exciting environment. Grants support child-focused programs and services, including therapeutic recreation and fun activities, early intervention, individual or family support groups, and mental, emotional, or behavioral health services.
The fund prioritizes innovative activities that directly benefit and empower children of abuse and their families. It seeks collaborative, nonduplicative services with potential to become long-term solutions to abuse issues involving youth. Proposals should demonstrate measurable, achievable outcomes and inclusive, accessible services.
