Description
The Women’s Fund of the Community Foundation of the North State supports work addressing persistent challenges facing women and their families in the Redding area. Part of a global movement of Women’s Funds, it uses collaborative philanthropy to advance its mission of creating a better future for women and their families.
The program supports eligible nonprofits, public entities, and fiscally sponsored projects or programs. Proposals describe the need for the project, intended activities and beneficiaries, and the short- and long-term changes the work aims to achieve. Applicants also explain community collaboration or volunteer involvement and how the project will be supported after grant funds are spent.
