Description
The Theo Murphy Initiative (Australia) – Amplify activity provides grants to early- and mid-career researchers (EMCRs) to create innovative, EMCR-focused add-on activities delivered alongside existing STEM conferences or symposiums in Australia. The aim is to enhance the value of these events for EMCRs by supporting new workshops, training sessions, networking events, or other professional development opportunities that go beyond the standard event agenda. Activities must be EMCR-led and designed to foster career development, collaboration, and knowledge sharing within the Australian STEM community. Funding is not available for standalone events or for subsidizing the core costs of the host conference.
