The American Psychological Foundation (APF), with Division 12, the Society of Clinical Psychology, honors an early-career clinical psychologist for accomplishments and promise in professional clinical psychology. The award recognizes the quality and impact of contributions to practice and their alignment with the program’s goals. Funding is sponsored by Psychological Assessment Resources, Inc. and APF.
Recognized accomplishments may include professional service promoting clinical psychology, innovation in service delivery, novel applications of applied research methodologies to professional practice, and positive effects on health delivery systems. Creative educational programs for practice and other novel activities advancing service to the profession also fit the award’s scope.
