Description
The Durant-Reilly Fellowship is run through Massachusetts General Hospital’s Center for Global Health. It honors Dr. Thomas S. Durant’s commitment to making humanitarian service to people affected by war and disasters part of a professional career. The fellowship supports healthcare professionals serving populations affected by complex humanitarian disasters and aims to deepen their commitment to people in distress and develop their professionalism in humanitarian response.
Fellows work with a humanitarian-assistance partner and a mentor with expertise in their area of focus. They pursue professional development and training that supports their fieldwork, while participating in the Center for Global Health community and its ongoing work locally and across the facility.
