Summary: Supports research using the Reg-ent clinical data registry to investigate care patterns and relationships in unified airway diseases.
This grant supports research projects that utilize the AAO-HNSF’s Reg-ent clinical data registry to critically evaluate relationships and care patterns in unified airway conditions, including inflammatory, immunologic, and allergic diseases affecting both upper (sinus/rhinitis) and lower (airway/pulmonary) tracts. The goal is to fund innovative, clinically relevant research that may lead to long-term or expanded programs, with a focus on chronic inflammatory conditions such as chronic rhinitis, chronic rhinosinusitis, nasal polyps, asthma, and related co-morbidities. Recipients will collaborate directly with the Reg-ent team for data extraction and project refinement. Basic science and animal model projects are not eligible.
