Description
The Thompson Charitable Foundation Fund is administered by East Tennessee Foundation to support Thompson Charitable Foundation’s grantmaking in Anderson, Blount, Knox, and Scott counties in Tennessee. It funds work benefiting residents and communities in one or more of these counties, with an emphasis on improving quality of life.
Proposals must address at least one of four priorities: community and economic development, education and workforce development, health and human services, or improving quality of life. The fund combines these broad priorities with a local focus: both the applicant organization’s location and the communities benefiting from its proposed work must fall within the four-county area. The fund will next award grants in 2027.
