Description
This funding opportunity, administered by Delaware Health & Social Services (DHSS) through the Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health (DSAMH), is part of the State Opioid Response (SOR) 4.0 initiative. The grant supports short-term projects that implement new or promising evidence-based practices (EBPs) to expand access and engagement for individuals with, or at risk for, opioid and/or stimulant use disorders (OUD/STUD) in Delaware. Funded projects must focus on at least one of the following: increasing access to medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD), increasing engagement in treatment, or improving care transitions.
Projects are required to serve at least one priority population, such as pregnant or parenting individuals, veterans, justice-involved persons, school-aged youth, or residents of high-need areas. Implementation must include robust data collection, fidelity monitoring, and compliance with all SAMHSA and federal requirements.
